Elements and @mentions
Describe it once, reuse it everywhere. · 4 min read
Each generation starts from nothing, so anything you do not describe can change between shots. Elements solve this by writing the same description into every prompt that mentions them.
Save a character, object or location on the Elements page, then type @ in a prompt to insert it.
Write descriptions a model can hold: physical, specific and stable.
- Good: "a tall woman in her forties, grey buzz cut, olive field jacket, silver hoop earrings".
- Less good: "a confident, mysterious detective" — personality does not render.
Add photos too. Models that accept reference images receive them automatically.
