Terms of Service

Last updated 13 September 2026

1. Who we are and these terms

Framera is an online service for creating videos, images and audio with AI models. Framera is operated by Bytefold ("we", "us" or "our").

These terms apply whenever you use the website, the tools on it, our API and our MCP server. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

2. Your account

Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including through API keys you create.

Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your account.

In a team workspace, the owner and admins can see members, their usage and the credits they spend, and can remove members. Credits spent in a workspace come from the owner's plan.

3. Plans, credits and payment

The service is sold as monthly subscription plans. Each plan grants credits at the start of every billing period, and generations and tools spend credits at the price shown before you start.

Credits expire at the end of the billing period they were granted for and do not roll over. They have no cash value, can't be transferred or sold, and can only be used on the service.

Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for all orders. Paddle handles checkout, payment, sales tax and invoices, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

We may change plan prices or what plans include. A price change applies from your next billing period, and we will tell you before it does.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you bring to the service — prompts, uploaded images and audio, and descriptions of characters and places ("your inputs").

You give us permission to store, process and copy your inputs and results, and to send them to the model providers that run your generations, only as needed to provide the service to you. If you publish something to the community, you also give us permission to show it publicly on the service, with your profile, until you unpublish it.

As between you and us, you own the results you generate, to the extent the law allows. Results made on a paid plan may be used commercially. AI models work from patterns in data, so a result may resemble someone else's, and results may not be protected by copyright in every country.

You are responsible for having the rights to your inputs — including permission from anyone whose likeness appears in them — and for how you use your results.

We don't use your inputs or results to train AI models.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to create, upload or share:

  • sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises minors;
  • sexual or intimate content depicting a real, identifiable person, or content depicting a real person without their consent in a way that could mislead or harm;
  • content that harasses or threatens people, or incites violence or hatred;
  • realistic graphic violence, or content that promotes terrorism or self-harm;
  • content meant to deceive, such as fabricated news presented as real, fraud or impersonation;
  • content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy;
  • anything else that is illegal where you are or where the people depicted are.

You also may not try to get around our safeguards or usage limits, access other people's accounts or data, disrupt the service, or resell access to it without our written agreement. Our Trust & Safety page explains how these rules are enforced.

6. AI models and availability

Generations run on AI models from third-party providers. Models can be added, changed or removed, and a provider may refuse a request under its own content policies.

Results are produced automatically and can be inaccurate, unexpected or unsuitable. Review them before relying on or publishing them.

We work to keep the service available, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or by problems outside our control.

7. Our service

The service, its software, design and branding belong to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you rights to them beyond using the service.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

8. Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe puts others at risk, or where the law requires it. Where it is appropriate and lawful, we will tell you why. Serious breaches, such as child sexual abuse material, lead to immediate closure.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will meet your needs or be free of errors, beyond those in these terms.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.

10. Claims about your content

If someone brings a claim against us because of content you created or shared, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or on the service before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the updated terms apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Bytefold is established — unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

13. Contact
