1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is similar, but stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers.
2. Cookies we set
All of our cookies are essential: the service can't work without them.
- aiv_session — keeps you signed in. Readable only by our servers, it expires 30 days after you last use the service, or when you sign out.
- aiv_oauth — used only while you sign in with Google, to protect that step from tampering. It expires after 10 minutes.
3. Stored in your browser
- cookie-consent:v1 — remembers your choice on the cookie notice.
- Dismissed announcements — remembers that you closed a banner, so it stays closed.
4. Other companies
- Paddle — when you open checkout, Paddle may set cookies needed to take your payment and prevent fraud, under its own cookie policy.
- Google — if you sign in with Google, that step happens on Google's site, under Google's policies.
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't currently use analytics. If we add analytics, it will only run if you choose "Accept all" on the cookie notice, and we will update this page first.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you won't be able to stay signed in.
