One shot, one idea
Why "then" is the most expensive word in a prompt. · 3 min read
A clip is one continuous camera setup lasting a few seconds. Asking for a sequence of events in one generation usually gets you a blur of all of them or only the first.
If you find yourself writing "then", split it into two shots. Cinema Studio exists for exactly this: describe the whole idea and the director breaks it into shots you can edit.
Five seconds is plenty for one action. Save longer durations for slow, atmospheric shots where little happens.
